Putting people at the centre of their care and support is what this course will aim to achieve.
It will promote understanding of how to identify what is important to individuals we support and how to plan it with them and will raise awareness of how we can use a variety of approaches and tools to achieve good and valued person-centred support and planning.
The course will raise awareness of the myths surrounding care planning and risk assessment, and focus on the strengths of those individuals that are supported to live at home independently.
