This course introduces you to the national and local policies in regard to infection control. It explains employer and employee responsibilities in this area, understanding of how risk assessment can help minimise the risk of an outbreak of infection, an understanding of how to use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) correctly and the importance of good personal hygiene.
